This jacket is the cutest, really looks like a real letterman's jacket, and fits a 17-inch Build-A-Bear Monkey perfectly. However, I do not think this item will be very durable when played with by children. When I went to unsnap the buttons to put it on, each one nearly pulled right through the red cloth. The cloth is hard to describe, it almost has a fuzzy, woolen, terry cloth feel, but the density of the threads is weak, so it seems like you could stab your fingernail right through it. I had to carefully pry each half of the metal snap apart to avoid ripping them through the cloth. I will not be using the snaps since I plan to leave the jacket open, but if a child was using the snaps for dress-up, I can't imagine it would take more than a few times to rip them all out. However, if the jacket is just for novelty, it's really adorable and there's really nothing else like it on the market, so I say buy it. Not for very small kids though.
