We purchased a Kookeys Penguin Plush after finding out our Hallmark store was discontinuing Webkinz due to the fact that the Webkinz will "expire" after 1 year from purchase.When Webkinz expire your child will no longer be able to access the Webkinz website that they've created/used (unless you purchase additional Webkinz and then I am unsure whether you would be able to access previously areas that the child may have "built").The Kookeys Penguin itself is extremely soft - the access to the Kookeys website was very simple - and it does not ever expire.I set it up and my child went onto the Kookeys website and enjoyed purchasing a home for his penguin and furnishing the home with a variety of items and purchasing food and other items for the penguin that lives and moves around in the virtual Kookey world.The virtual world is somewhat like "The SIMS" - although obviously geared more for children so they can easily navigate around it.
I do recommend this Kookeys plush toy with unlimited interactive website access.
