My son cannot part with his "Pal." This snugapuff is his lovey and most treasured toy. He sleeps with it every night and naps with it every day. It travels with us, goes to the grocery store, and "plays" with him all day throughout our house. It was a great comfort when he was sick and in the hospital for a few days last summer. It's soft and furry on one side and smooth satin on the other. There are no beads or other choking hazards attached, and the ribbon at the neck is too short to be of any strangulation concern. It's very well constructed. I wash "Pal" at least weekly, sometimes twice a week. I just toss him in a lingerie bag and wash him with a load of my sons clothes. He goes right into the dryer. And I have an old, junky washer and dryer set, so there's no delicate cycle. This thing takes that kind of beating and, other than needing the stuffing pushed back around a bit, comes out of the wash looking fantastic. My son is almost 2 and has been loving this snugapuff since he was about 9 months old. I'm buying a second one because I'm terrified we will lose this thing one day and my son will be inconsolable! This is a great buy!
