I ordered this for my 20 month old grandson. He loved it! He would take each animal and look at me for it's name. My daughter-in-law put name cards on the floor and after a very short time he could put the animal to it's name. What a wonderful educational fun thing this was. The animals were true to life and very durable. As a former teacher, I highly recommend this.Stacey
