Plush Lion 26" Review

This has to be one of the most gorgeous plush animals I've ever seen.As an adult collector, this lion quickly became a favorite of mine.The price of $110.00 is a bit high, bit it's well worth the money if you're looking to buy a quality plush animal for any age.The lion is exquisitely detailed, the face is very majestic.There are several pieces of fabric sewn on the face to give it this special look, and the nose is also sewn, and not a piece of plastic.The mane is magnificent and soft, and is accurately sewn to the animal just like a real lion, it goes down to a third of the body length.This is a BIG plush animal, and he has some weight to him - there are beans in his huge paws and a big bag of beans in his belly.The "fur" or fabric is very soft, so when you pick him up, you're holding a very cuddly, soft and hefty plush animal.He's not too heavy for younger children though, he has just enough weight to make you feel like you're holding something special.Since he's so soft, fluffy and huggable, I gave him 5 stars for fun.Education is 5 stars because he's super realistic.He's well sewn and would tolerate lots of love and hugging, so 5 stars for durability.My only complaint (and for me it was a slight one) - you cannot position him the way the picture shows.He's floppy, and needs to be propped up.I have mine displayed in a big basket with him propped over the side.I love it and he looks great, but for someone else I thought this might be a concern.I liked this lion so much I have purchased the 26" Lioness and the 12" Lion cub from Leosco.Both the Lioness and the cub have the same great quality as the male lion.
