This purchase was for my granddaughter, she has a Byron she has had since birth, she just turned 9. Her old Byron has been through a lot and with age, washing and loss of stuffing has shrunk a bit--just like old people.When we found this one at Amazon we just had to get it for her and it is exactly like her old one when it was new. The only difference is the placement of the leather name patch.
Her old one has had a pretty hard life indoors and out where ever Emmy went and has been washed tens of times and is still her favorite.
Would recommend for any child.
