I bought this as a gift to a girlie friend of mine for her birthday. She absolutely loves it. Once it arrived, I was surprised by just how soft the fur is on the hippo. It's really delightful to the touch. The toy is very floppy in its limbs, so it'd be great for kids to sleep in bed with at night. With how soft the toy is, I'd be worried about it going through daily youngster abuse. Though with proper care, it should last for years.
