My step-daughter is really in love with animals, and really wanted a bunny of her own for Christmas. Most little ones may accidentally hurt an animal, especially one as small as a rabbit on accident, as they don't really understand yet how easy it is to hurt them and because they are so excited, so we thought this would be a great way for her to learn to be gentle with the rabbit, and care for it. This rabbit was her favorite Christmas present and she loves it and cares for it, and calls it her baby. She has learned that she cannot hold it by its ears/tail/etc, and that she needs to be gentle with it. It has definitely held up to lots of fun, and has been a great learning tool for her.
