I think it's cute. My son has this one and the t-rex hatchling. He's only 1, and of course he does things he probably shouldn't with them, but they seem to be holding up really well so far. He sometimes pulls on the moving parts while they are moving and instead of braking, they seem to pause and let him go about what he's doing and then finish moving when he lets go.
