Aurora Plush 12" Esmeralda Flopsie Review

Each of my kids has one of these plush cats now. The oldest cat is almost three years old now and has been machine-washed dozens of times when the crud level exceeded the capacity of hand-washing (you know how kids are). As is typical with plush toys, the plush is a little "crushed" after washing so many times, but the toy is still attractive and resilient, and my older girl still carries that cat like a talisman. I recently purchased a replacement due to loss, and the new one looks nearly identical to the old one. I'm very pleased. (The original cat turned up several days later, if you're wondering. :) )

Aurora Plush Tux Flopsie - 12" Review

I purchased this toy for my grandmother who has Alzheimer's as a form of comfort and connection. She lives alone. She loves cats, but of course is incapable of caring for one at this stage in her life. This particular plush toy is very soft and the bean-like material inside of it give it weighty life-like feel. It also enables the cat to be positioned. Aurora has other cats and dogs available in their "Flopsie" line. I have no doubt they are just as wonderfully made!

Plush Esmeralda Calico Cat Mini Flopsie 8" Review

We now own three full-sized flopsies (12") and a mini flopsie. It turned out to be a perfect alternative for my older daughter who's started preschool and can't carry her "big kitty" Esmeralda to school every day. The mini-flopsie looks exactly like the larger one, and it tucks into her backpack. I'm now on a mission to find a mini-flopsie that looks like my younger daughter's cat (Tabatha), so she can carry it when her turn comes to go to school. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Ty Jumbles - Calico Cat Review

This stuffed kitty is soft and cute, but the picture is not accurate.The "Jumbles" that I received is orange and brown, without the traditional black, orange and white splotches characteristic of an actual Calico.(I did double check, and the label says Calico).

I was bummed.My husband and I just separated and my son misses our Calico kitty Molly.I was really excited to unveil a stuffed animal that looked just like her.Instead he just got a random cat.
