Plush Octopus Stuffed Animals 8" Review

I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend, a cephalopod enthusiast. The octopus is hilarious in appearance; it is more prison-jacket-orange than the picture suggests, and it is stuffed into a fishbowl-shaped container. It is possible to give the octopus a fun expression (quizzical, frightened, rage) by stuffing it into its container in different ways. Overall, it's great fun.

Plush Giant Squid 20" Review

My son is 7, and his favorite animal in the world is the Giant Squid. It's very difficult to find replicas of the giant squid, as they aren't exactly the most popular animal around. But I found this one here at Amazon and was so surprised that ANYONE made a PLUSH giant squid, I had to have him for my son's Easter basket.I got him in just a couple of days, and I can't say enough about it's quality.Very well designed and completely anatomically correct, with feeder arms, beak AND siphon! This was important since it is very important to my Boy to have things as realistic as possible. He LOVES the squid - has named him Ikay (Japanese for squid) and is carrying him everywhere, using him to destroy Lego ships and attack Bionicles.I've never seen him so taken with a stuffed animal before - this is a first.
IF you know a child or adult who is fond of the Giant Squid - you will love this creature. He's perfect.

Wildlife / Domestic Animals : Giant Squid 30" Plush Stuffed Animal Toy Review

Being an HP Lovecraft fan, I have a soft spot for all things squiddy and tentacled. I have a tendency to pick up stuffed squids and octopi when the opportunity arises to serve as minions to my plush Cthulhu.

This stuffed Giant Squid is a great addition to the team, and the first stuffed giant squid I have bought.I was pretty excited to find it here, as I didn't know something like this even existed. It looks great, and is completely anatomically correct.Big eyes, beak, ink jets, grabber arms....this is a natural giant squid reproduced in all its glory.

The only disappointment is that it is smaller than I had imagined. It does stretch 30" from the tip of the grabber arms to the end of the hood, but most of that is tentacle and it is actually only a medium-sized toy.It is skinnier than I was imagining also, and is maybe about the size of an adult's arm.
