MAMMOTH BABY by Safari, Ltd. Review

I bought this toy (along with the woolly mammoth, sabre-toothed tiger and tiger cub) for my niece.I found that this toy is beautifully designed and very tough.The detail is incredible, as is the price.I would suggest buying it with the woolly mammoth, so your child or prehistoric animal enthusiast could have a family.This is a wonderful toy and I would definitely recommend it.

Ty Griddles - Brown Bear Review

My daughter got this as a gift from a family friend when she was six months old. At first, she didn't give it much attention. Then over the next few months, it grew on her. One day while looking at the bear, she made the sound "awa". So we followed her lead and began calling the bear "Awa". That is how she has referred to the teddy bear from then on.

My now 22-month-old toddler cannot be anywhere without her Awa. She has to have him in the car, in her crib, while taking a nap, etc. If she is in a grouchy mood and gets a hold of Awa, she immediately calms down.

I know Ty says on the tag that you should only surface wash their plush toys, but my daughter has gotten the bear dirty on enough occasions to the point that we had to put him in the washing machine. Needless to say, he is not in the same condition as before (hair is matted down and he's not as soft), but that doesn't matter. She loves him just as he is today.

My husband and I decided to order a clone of the bear to keep in our house (perhaps limited to my toddler's crib) so it will be kept in a more pristine condition over time. Then she'll have the original one to bring in the car for outings and on trips. I would have never guessed she'd love this bear as much as she does. So soft and cuddly, and who can't resist the endearing look on his face that makes you want to cuddle him?

Steiff Fynn Teddy Bear - Beige Review

I grew up with Steiff since my mother is from Germany.This is not the top line mohair plush, but it their wonderful useable North American line.It is less expensive, easy to clean, very cute and durable, and I don't feel so nervous about my daughter dropping this on dirt like I would with the mohairs.A truly fine Steiff without the worry of damaging a very expensive toy!

Lanky Cats Iggy - Gold Review

Not much to say except my 2 year old daughter instantly fell in love with this extremely soft, floppy cat with large, almost sad, wistful eyes.This is the only object in our arsenal that has successfully extinguished numerous temper tantrums.She calls it "Floppy Cat" and it's always nearby.
