Ty Griddles - Brown Bear Review

My daughter got this as a gift from a family friend when she was six months old. At first, she didn't give it much attention. Then over the next few months, it grew on her. One day while looking at the bear, she made the sound "awa". So we followed her lead and began calling the bear "Awa". That is how she has referred to the teddy bear from then on.

My now 22-month-old toddler cannot be anywhere without her Awa. She has to have him in the car, in her crib, while taking a nap, etc. If she is in a grouchy mood and gets a hold of Awa, she immediately calms down.

I know Ty says on the tag that you should only surface wash their plush toys, but my daughter has gotten the bear dirty on enough occasions to the point that we had to put him in the washing machine. Needless to say, he is not in the same condition as before (hair is matted down and he's not as soft), but that doesn't matter. She loves him just as he is today.

My husband and I decided to order a clone of the bear to keep in our house (perhaps limited to my toddler's crib) so it will be kept in a more pristine condition over time. Then she'll have the original one to bring in the car for outings and on trips. I would have never guessed she'd love this bear as much as she does. So soft and cuddly, and who can't resist the endearing look on his face that makes you want to cuddle him?

Ty ToasTy - Bear with Oversized Scarf Review

I was gifted this Ty Classic for Christmas, 2005. It quickly became the only plushie in my life. Toasty comes with me on every vacation.

He has amazing cuddle qualities that are perfect for a teddy. He's floppy and "under-stuffed". His fur is SO soft. It was silky smooth and curly when I first got him. Now it's still soft, but after rolling around in suitcases and bedsheets, I'm sad to say he's not as silky. The Toasty has a beanie bottom, but plushie head, arms, legs, hands and feet. His scarf is sewn onto him in the front.

He is an incredible bear. I want to be the only one with him. Haha. I can't wait to buy one for my child one day.

Build-A-Bear Workshop 16 in. Dimples Teddy Plush Stuffed Animal Review

I have many build a bears but this one is def. my fave! It is a classic teddy bear that has a POP of these wonderful dimples. It has shiny black fur that is so soft and fun to cuddle with. Mine is a girl, but could easily be either, and could be given as a wonderful gift to any gender child! I got mine when i was 11 years old.I really recommend this bear!

Webkinz Penguin Review

My daughter got this penguin for Christmas. It is totally cute (on the computer too). It is the biggest Webkinz I have ever seen. It stands out from all the others my daughter owns (she has 16 to date) because it is so tall and wide.

One thing we have noticed with the Webkinz though, the seams like to come apart easily and have to be sewn back together. It has happend to 2 so far.

They are great on the Computer. Teaches the kids responsibility since they have to feed, play with and take them to the vet. You can buy all kinds of things for your Webkinz and decorate their room any way you want. Many things in your pets room are interactive, like the stove, swimming pool etc. You can also plant a garden and grow your pets own vegetables.

We love Webkinz!
