Royal Renaissance Bartholomew - small Review

Another hit from Manhattan Toy. From the several different dragons in the Royal Renaissance series, we ordered Bartholomew, because he most closely resembled Puff the Magic Dragon (our daughter loves the song). Dragons are available in small or large. We ordered the small (13 inch) size.

I was so impressed with the quality of this toy, from the sculptural qualities of the head, wings and tail, to the varied fabrics. Horns are silver lame', toe nails are soft vinyl, and the underbelly is something close to velour or velvet. Lots of interesting textures, and the toy still has the right amount of squeezable softness.

The small size is perfect for our 2 year old to carry around. In a boy's room, the larger version looks like it would be cool sitting out (on a dresser or floor) to play up a fantasy or knights/dragons decor.

We've only had him a month, but so far no obvious signs of wear. Wish I could say the same for some of the Pottery Barn stuff Santa brought!

Plush Flashing Sword Green Dragon 11" Review

Douglas Toys Green Dragon. Well made, great color combination: overall green with deep purple on the stomach and under wings, gold on the nose, horns and part of wing. The texture is not fluffy , but like a cut panne almost, very appropriate because dragons are not necessarily fluffy beings. My son uses this both as a toy and a decoration in his room. When not playing with it, it sits front and center on his nightstand. So glad I purchased it. Hard to find, though.

Plush Snort Dragon 8" Review

I submitted the customer images.
Snort is the best dragon for his small size. (If you want a "huggable size" dragon, check out Jade, Ruby, Topaz, or Snuffle.) But I use Snort for travelling and taking pictures of him all kinds of crazy places. He has a very soft and shiny belly, and sleepy little eyes. I wouldn't trade him!

Organic Dragon - 13" Review

My 4 month old son loves his dragon!He cuddles up with it to get to sleep.During the day, he loves talking and giggling to it and flailing it around by the arms and legs.I am going to buy a second one as a back-up.And the best thing about it?You can just toss it into the washing machine if it gets dirty!It's a little pricey, but worth it!
