Royal Renaissance Bartholomew - small Review

Another hit from Manhattan Toy. From the several different dragons in the Royal Renaissance series, we ordered Bartholomew, because he most closely resembled Puff the Magic Dragon (our daughter loves the song). Dragons are available in small or large. We ordered the small (13 inch) size.

I was so impressed with the quality of this toy, from the sculptural qualities of the head, wings and tail, to the varied fabrics. Horns are silver lame', toe nails are soft vinyl, and the underbelly is something close to velour or velvet. Lots of interesting textures, and the toy still has the right amount of squeezable softness.

The small size is perfect for our 2 year old to carry around. In a boy's room, the larger version looks like it would be cool sitting out (on a dresser or floor) to play up a fantasy or knights/dragons decor.

We've only had him a month, but so far no obvious signs of wear. Wish I could say the same for some of the Pottery Barn stuff Santa brought!

Manhattan Toy Groovy Girl Pets Midnight Star Horse Review

This toy has some neat features that are helpful for playing.It has loops on the reigns to put the dolls hands into.And the saddle has stirrups for putting in the feet so it really helps to keep the doll on the horse while playing.It's also a nice big horse.It makes sounds (galloping & whinnying), which I didn't realize, but it ended up being okay because the volume is at a nice level and it only makes sounds if you push the button.It feels like there are some kind of supports in the legs and this is helpful in making the horse stand upright.This was a great Christmas present and my girls play with it often.

Rarities Grace Elephant Review

We bought this for our 7 year old daughter. She absolutely loves it! It is big and REALLY SOFT. She sleeps with it sometimes and takes it with her in the car on vacation ( as a pillow and companion )Bottom line...You definetly get what you pay for with this elephant!
