When my 5 year old told me that he wanted a black-tip reef shark for his birthday my immediate reaction was to laugh. I couldn't imagine that such a thing was made and thought this would just be one of those "yeah whatever" times. Well, I decided to search my trusty amazon and low and behold -- this black tip reef shark.

Receiving this stuffed shark was the highlight of the 6-year old birthday party. A year has passed and this shark still adorns his bed and is carried about. If you have a child who is interested in different types of specific animals, the quality of this product can't be beat!

Hey, I found it funny (he was wearing a black armband out of respect).

A bit smaller than I thought.12" means from nose to tail tip if you straighten it out, but a cute item nonetheless.

Plush Whale Shark 12" Review

Our Son picked this out for an early Birthday gift - he JUST LOVES it.We think that it is fun, and educational.It's nice to be able to look at picture books and read about the Whale Shark!He is a little shark/sea life fanatic - and we think that this also provides us an outlet to talk about caring for our oceans and having respect for all creatures, great and small!He has taken it several places, slept with it and has had a blast!Definitely time and money well spent!We will be shopping for more - he says that he needs a little friend...lol!:)
