Elephant 7" & Piggie 5" Soft Toys Review

Very cute representations of Mo Willems dynamic duo.Elephant and Piggie are actually hooked together with a little velcro loop. So they can actually be stuck together at the hip as it were.They are very soft and cuddly.Their expressions perfectly capture Willems' drawings.They don't have any removable parts or excessive tags for little ones to get distracted by. A great gift for little ones who love these books.

My 8 year old granddaughter is really into elephants this year.She wanted one to take to bed at night.She received at least a dozen elephants from relatives for Christmas.Her favorite is the 28" Plush Super Ellie Elephant, which she told me she loves and takes with her to bed every night. Planet Toys Planet Earth Large Plush Animals with unseen footage DVD Assortment - African Elephant Review

This toy is for educational purposes. I would let the children watch only segments of the video and not in its entirity. The stuffed animal is a good reading buddy because it is washable. It is worth what I paid for it becasue of its educational purpose.

LeapFrog® Shapes with Ella Review

The elephant sounds like he has a stuffed up nose and he sounds kind of stupid.Not sure I want my baby to be learning from this type of speech.The volume is also really loud.Too loud for little ears.The spinning action is easy to manage so that is a good tool for little ones.Maybe the lion sounds more intelligent?I wish it were made out of a nicer fabric.It's not as cute as it looks in the photo.

I purchased this toy for my ex'd daughter.I was looking for something she would like a lot & something educational as well.She was into catchy toons and would try to sing a lot of nursery rhymes as well.This stuffed animal did the trick & she always carried it around!

Kids Preferred Elmer the Patchwork Elephant Plush Review

the elephant was really light weight.I did think that it would be a softer material, but I guess this is what happens when you can't actually touch it first.It was a gift for a friend's child, and she loves elephants, so overall I think she likes it.

Lamaze Eddie the Elephant Tunes Review

This is one of baby's favorite toys.Nice music, colors, textures, and patterns.Very interactive.

No five star rating for four reasons:

(1) Too few songs and too short segments of songs.
(2) Too short record time.
(3) Notes on trunk are quite difficult to press.
(4) Tricky to press the spot that must be pressed to initiate music.

These issues mean that someone other than baby must constantly press different parts of the elephant in lieu of baby for quite some time until baby learns to do it alone.
